Help where needed most

Empower a Child is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit. Contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS rules and regulations.

The donation categories used on this website and/or in accompanying print materials are representative of some of the many needs Empower a Child must meet to empower children and families across East Africa. We make every effort to track your donation and implement your donation on behalf of those you intended to serve. In the unlikely event that a project becomes overfunded, your gift will be applied to a project "where needed most." Empower a Child leadership, with the oversight of our Board of Directors hereby reserve the right to use your donation “where needed most”, as programmatic timing and capacities change according to the developing communities we serve.

By donating, you hereby understand that Empower a Child has control regarding your contribution. Thank you for your generous support of our work and for understanding our intention to make the best use of your gift!
